as stated with the leadership team, hold people accountable. stop trying to be people's friend's. a business needs to get things done and you can do that without all the fluff. my coworker's team has come to me with the same frustrations, but everyone tiptoe's around them

more competent people who want to push the business forward rather than always looking to the past because the future scares them.we have to move on&get over the pandemic because things will never return to what they were beforehand. can't blame covid for things going wrong when they were broken b4

Hold people accountable, set due dates, urge people to act on urgent items, and not pass it off to the next person because the next action item is 'not their job'. too much focus on having a good time and being friendly versus actually doing hard work. then when shit hits the fan, everyone panics.
