Communication and honesty. We care about each other and the work we do.
Fair assessment and market leveling. Add back RSUs for individual contributors. Managers take all.
At the time, people were positive and welcoming. HR worked on behalf of the employees, not the management.
Poor leadership kills morale, kills the passion that employees bring to their role, and eventually creeps outside your company walls into every single customer transaction.
Resigning their own positions and returning the company to its former greatness. Complete loss of the great culture and team work that built PAN. Low morale. Lack of communication. Backbiting. Retaliatory. Employees are fleeing in droves. HR cannot keep up the PR.
Carefully evaluate people managers before putting them into place and giving them carte blanche power. That's a mistake. Before hiring these people into roles where they will manage others, take a look at their track record. Ask the ppl who worked FOR them, not just the ppl for whom they worked.
