Leadership needs to sow team-building and cohesion, not discord and cut-throat culture. They need to do this through demonstration. hire balanced team of none alpha - narcissitic people. But like hires like so i dont think the quality of people will change.

Carefully evaluate people managers before putting them into place and giving them carte blanche power. That's a mistake. Before hiring these people into roles where they will manage others, take a look at their track record. Ask the ppl who worked FOR them, not just the ppl for whom they worked.
