I worked for Eli Lilly for 10 years. While things were never perfect, I did know what I would be doing each day and things were kept up. This facility looks terrible inside and out. Evonik/lead teams seem to have no interest in putting money into updating, better equipment or it's people.

When things get tough we can always find humor to lighten up the night. We are well-rounded in our knowledge of the job.

Offer more opportunities to gain monetary rewards for outstanding performance all through the year. There is no real incentive for employees to stay in my area. It is very physical. We work Holidays and weekends. No real updates to equipment have occurred for 10 years.

First, I feel like this survey is geared toward an office climate. I'm in a production environment. That is the main issue with Evonik as a whole. It has never acknowledged the fact that operators/employees work a variety of shifts. 2nd, favoritism is still very much in play with supervision.

Not enough employees. If we want to hire a younger group that doesn't want to work nights, wknds or holidays. Evonik needs to off more money and hire straight in - not use contractors. Offer a better holiday hourly rate. Do this before everyone else does. People and equipment are the big necessities
