The interview process was focused on who we are, how we deal with problems and personal failures, and what motivates us. It was a group of real people interviewing a person, not just asking standard questions off a page.

Health insurance, by far. Having my health insurance covered by my company brought a wave of relief from stress that I didn't even realize I had, so this one takes the cake. And the equity compensation package is a nice bonus on top!

Collaboration and fun, all in one. Have a question? Someone else has the same one, and your manager either knows the answer or will facilitate the internal conversation with the subject matter expert. Need a 4th for beach volleyball or pickleball? Someone has you covered there too!

The leadership at HG is so knowledgable and approachable, two things which paired together breed confidence and further individual knowledge. I can talk to our CTO candidly about the product roadmap, or about the new restaurant/bar in town, and then talk to my CEO about our upcoming half marathon.

If someone is struggling, they are never put down -- by their peers or leadership. When we see one another struggling, we jump at the opportunity to help and bring someone along into success. We work hard, and we make sure we take the time to unwind as well. Vacation days are literally required.
