Caring and safety, a very cooperative environment.
The work and work environment.
It has been a long time since I interviewed, but I have provided technical part of interviews. The process is somewhat methodical, but could be more methodical to remove judgement calls.
Management from the business unit down, generally, serves the employee. They focus on helping the employee succeed. Being a lower level manager is not so great, but a technical expert is very good. Also, the culture of caring and safety is very appreciated.
Team dynamics tend to be very focused on mission success and an everyone wins when the team wins. There are a very few that aren't good team players, but the vast majority is very supportive and lots of opportunities to mentor junior engineers and enjoy seeing them succeed.
Compensation is adaquate, but not great if you are an expert. If you are entry level, it is really too low. The benifits are well rounded, but pretty average. Again, satisfactory, but not great. You work here because you like the work, not because the pay is great.
