Management from the business unit down, generally, serves the employee. They focus on helping the employee succeed. Being a lower level manager is not so great, but a technical expert is very good. Also, the culture of caring and safety is very appreciated.

Treating issues as a chance to learn instead of an opportunity to berate employees in front of others.

Our team had a great manager who they let go for political reasons. My current manager does his best. Their manager could a better job listening to the needs of their subordinates and of caring about the workers.
