My Manager always returns call or emails and always follows up with an question

Management from the business unit down, generally, serves the employee. They focus on helping the employee succeed. Being a lower level manager is not so great, but a technical expert is very good. Also, the culture of caring and safety is very appreciated.

they keep us infomed on what is going on

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Start investing in the company and employees

Require masks and vaccines oer federal madate

Everything. Recruiting, pay, onboarding. Retention.

Sr leadership could do a better job at listening. Staying positive. "If everything is a priority, nothing is a priority." They could be more selective on what they force into unrealistic timelines. Treating issues as a chance to learn instead of an opportunity to berate employees in front of others.

Review from IT Dept

Our team had a great manager who they let go for political reasons. My current manager does his best. Their manager could a better job listening to the needs of their subordinates and of caring about the workers.

Stop harassment, bullying, entitlement, prejudice. Try to actually care about employees instead of superficially promoting diversity. Be accountable.

Review from Engineering Dept

They could do less talking and more listening.

knowing what their employee's do, my manager has no idea what my job consists of, they are not even located in the same building I am in.

Review from Engineering Dept

Listening to the people and understanding what matters to individuals.

Ensuring that employees want to work for Jacobs, not forced to due to a poor economy
