Super upsetting, this place has so much potential to be great, but after working there for two months I've come to find the general manager is incapable of keeping employees for more than two months. He's the reason everyone is mostly leaving and there is no culture or postivity whatsoever.

Just be considerate and nice. In the handbook they talk about taking care of the staff first, you should really listen to that and take it to heart.

I love about half the team. The ones who work hard and get things done have my respect, but the ones who do nothing and burn time until their shift is over is so frusturating.

Create culture. Stop barrading everyone and overworking the team. It's just constant criticisim with no positive reinforcement. The people who work hard as well are overworked because the managers make them do what the slacking employees don't do.

The most positive thing is the employees who help each other get through the day. The management for the most part is always just hard on you and expects you to go above and beyond when they themselves are the source of negativity and dread.
