IBM P-TECH internship program
In its 10th year, P-TECH is a public education reform model created by IBM that enables skills attainment and career readiness, now reaching over 150,000 students in over 250 schools globally. In 2021, IBM offered 1,000 new, paid internships to P-TECH students and graduates in the U.S., a tenfold increase from the prior year.
IBM Accelerate early talent identification program
IBM created an early talent identification program, IBM Accelerate, to help 1,000 freshman and sophomore undergraduates prepare for future internships. The program consists of an eight-week, live-instruction, virtual learning experience, where participants receive professional coaching from IBM professionals, earn an industry-recognized credential to showcase on their LinkedIn profile and learn essential foundational skills.
Last year, in the face of the unfolding global crisis, Adobe quickly adapted its internship program to be completely digital. This year, Adobe’s intern program will remain fully virtual.
