Make raises based on performance instead of the same across the board, hire better employees, and pay better.
Pay at Evonik is less than competing companies are offering. Even fast food is paying more than the temp service at Evonik. My job makes $20,000 a year less at Evonik than most other organizations.
Evonik cannot get new customers because they do not want to invest in improvements to the site so the potential customers are going to other organizations that are willing to be less expensive and willing to invest.
Ensure pay and benefits match or are better than competing companies in the area instead of paying less. Staff the site for success instead of failure to allow better work/life balance. Staff positions prior to employees leaving so replacements are trained.
Need to increase pay to get better applicants. The newer employees are not very good because the best personnel are working at organizations that pay more. Once we get better staffing, we need to hold everyone accountable instead of specific individuals.
