Paid leave for parents should be better. P&W is a leading company and they should treat their people that way.
They at least make an honest attempt to empower their employees. It doesn't always happen because of other restrictions. But they try.
The company is good about having a panel involved, and empowering direct managers and/or teams. But the coordination with recruitment is lacking.
They are trying to be more empowering and developmental. The company is overwhelmingly operations focused, however, and many managers are not prepared to develop their employees.
