Premera has an incompetent and ineffective CEO and a board of directors who are asleep at the wheel. As a not for profit company intended to serve the public good they have squandered millions of dollars in recent years. Their CIO has no healthcare or similar IT experience and has gutted the org.
Compensation is low which brings low morale
