Inclusive, considerate, caring, smart, capable folks all willing to share knowledge, work ethic, passionate about their craft, feels like a family (a big one!) or friends more than colleagues.
Mine was very quick and easy since I had been contracting and knew the teams beforehand, but normally I think our interview process can be pretty extensive and somewhat overwhelming for some.
Working with like-minded folks, solving problems, the collaboration and energy, some of the social aspect that we all know each other on a personal level and care what's going on with each other outside of work.
In a pretty massive organization, it doesn't feel like there is so much distance between the overall leadership and the people on the ground doing the work. I appreciate the transparency and the collaborative mentality, and feel like our leaders get to know us and encourage engagement at all levels
The people are great, everyone feels like a friend, very low ego and competitiveness, generally, everyone is very collaborative, looks out for each other, wants to see others get credit and promotions, etc. Also very talented, everyone is really capable in their role with a passion to expand & grow.
I think I am pretty fairly paid, my concerns are more around opportunities for advancement and career growth at the pace I would like. Overall I am pretty happy, no major reasons to leave, but our industry is very competitive right now and I am often recruited for roles 2-3 levels above me.
