Serving others, making a difference!
The customers, serving others, interacting with coworkers, being able to make a difference daily!
It was very straightforward, but now I understand why. Because the location in which I was hired has a very high turnover rate, which makes it easy to hire new people, and it's a vicious cycle due to poor management from the top down.
Having better people in management who truly CARE about their employees and how the operation is run instead of "clicking" with certain people (while ignoring others), playing on their phones + chatting when they should be assisting their cashiers with bagging b/c we're shorthanded, etc. It's wrong!
Interacting with the older, more mature coworkers who "get it" and understand the daily b/s that goes on from the top down, while the young people are too young to understand office politics, favoritism, clickiness, and fake/insecure people at the top, and how it causes the BEST WORKERS to quit!!!!!
