You could inform them that they are yelling and that they do not need to and that there are other ways to approach a sitiuation. If they continue to yell then you go to HR
Tell manager I am uncomfortable with yelling
Be honest with the manager and let your manager know that you do not appreciate his or her tone towards you. You should also bring it up to HR
The owner believes more to the manager,
Stay calm, look them in the eye and say, “you don’t have to yell. I can hear you.”
Ask them not to use that tone with you.
Let them yell all they want just do your work and don't bother going to other people's desk to chat. You're there to do a job not chat with coworkers
Tell them to grow up and not treat people like that. Then kick them in the shin.
I would have to say, step back & tell them when they are readyto cslm dow & talk calmly, theñ we could talk.
Have other employees come stand next to you when the manager starts yelling. We did that where I worked and it really worked.
by quietly listening to him/her
Go to HR but be prepared for retaliation
I have thankfully never encountered a manager who was a yeller, that would never be tolerated at General Mills! If that situation ever did occur I would talk to their manager or HR as appropriate. I can’t even imagine dealing with that, no thanks!!
Don't ever yell back.
don't lose your temper and yell back
DON'T GET RILED UP!!!!!! Your shout-y manager is so angry that they want others to also feel upset, so DON'T GET ANGRY! This drives them up the wall. By being above their bad behaviour, you probe that you are the lady/gentleman/non-gender-specific person of worth in the situation.
Talk slowly and softly.
Yell LOUDER. I always win
Swallow your pride and get the job done...
