The question is, how long will you be able to endure them? This doesn't sound like a recipe for long-term success with your job. Personally, it's always been important for me to like (or respect, or get along with, etc) my colleagues.
Mutual respect is the most important feature of a good working relationship. If you have that, you can put up with most annoying people, and in the modern workplace, putting up with co-workers is easily solved by telework.
if you don't like your co-workers you should look for a new job. Either they or you are harming the company culture.
Just endure them. They're coworkers, not friends. If you can, be pleasant to them and strive for a work environment where you can work together.
Only if you work in the beauty pageant industry.
Endure them. Place of business after all. Friendship at work is a gift.
Depends on the generation. My generation and precious had no problem working with people we didn’t like, so long as they were civil and not openly hostile. Millennials do NOT adhere to this diplomacy! It really casts a pall on the workplace atmosphere.
You can do both. There are individuals you can like and others you have to endure but that's just any workplace I've been a part of.
You do not NEED to like your coworkers, but it does make the job bearable.
No, if they are horrible it just won't be me that has a problem and they will eventually weed themselves out. Or I may be the problem and just need to move on.
You don't need to like anyone, but you need be able to collaborate and be team player. To have the team dynamic that bring synergy, it's better if you like your coworkers, but everybody is different. Instead of enduring, get to know them more personal way. Have a lunch or dinner together or have separate activity or ask management to provide to spend just little bit more of get to know time so that you can have better relationship. Good relationship will make difference in the results.
I believe that liking your boss is the most important since they will be the person to guide you. But, it is also nice to like your co-workers. Be welcoming to them and I believe it will make for the highest chances of having them be nice back to you.
Just endure. It’s business not personal. Get the job done.
