Cancel the meeting.
Start with a surprise, have someone else lead it, ask everyone to tell their favorite color, snack, TV show, see if you can do it in 60 seconds or less, time it.
Have a clear mind frame positive attitude and don't be afraid to ask for help.
Have everyone literally stand up, and keep their updates short and to the point. It's not about solving problems, it's about highlighting only those blockages that involve the rest of the team, and noting who needs to meet with whom after the meeting.
Probably not schedule them daily. Unless your situation is unique, daily meetings are usually greeted with both cynicism and dread. If you want to engender real happiness, don't have daily stand-up meetings at all.
Make them more efficient. Get to the point and move on.
