    Change your schedule I when your boss isn't working, that way when you do a great job everyone will know that you did it

    Your boss is a weenie. It is time to leave. Start researching companies to find those with healthy cultures where people thrive.

    Always outline or update your accomplishment(s) to your boss via email and always cc others, e.g. your bosses peers or other managers that may have an interest in the area. 'Over communicating' is your friend in this case.

    I think that is a "no win" situation for you. Perhaps there is another department you can transfer to. If that is not an option and you have committed to staying in the job you are currently in than you have to handle this professionally and maturely. If you see an opportunity to take responsibility for the work as being yours you should feel free to do so. Be sure NOT to mention your boss and not to make too much of it. Just a subtle statement in passing in a conversation someone else brought up. Perhaps you were "not aware" your boss took credit. {wink}

    Find other employment or employer. Bosses taking credit is something that happens everywhere. However, if you create a product or part that will benefit the company...... please copy write it. If you do this, it becomes your property and they must pay you for it.

    Offhand, but detailed, conversation with their boss about the work prior to the presentation.

    Rule of think imo talk to your boss first if that doesn’t work then go above them. Same with co workers, if you have an issue talk to them first. If not resolved go to the supervisor.

    You’re in a toxic work environment if this is a regular occurrence find a new job as I’m sure this is not the only thing that is diminishing your energy and desire to innovate.
