
It depends on the project-if no one else on your team is doing it, it's not really accepted. If everyone is, then it's absolutely okay. It also depends on the nature of the work-if you are running a solo work stream then it is usually okay, as opposed to many projects where you work with a team every day
It really depends on the project. Some projects allow or even prefer work from home, others require people to be onsite always. If the project and client allow it, it is totally OK.
The jobs within my BU mostly required working at the client site.
