Pure compensation outside of benefits is lacking, especially for lower level employees. The excuse that it meets cost of living is horrible, and should represent how we work and how much value we add to this company - which it currently does not.
I am underpaid compared to the benchmark of others in my field. Avant likes to pay by level, but does not take into consideration what other companies pay. Avant is also unwilling to make compensation changes in the short term even with data that proves a need.
