Simply put communication & organization. Thinking ahead prevents the constant damage control the front desk has to do.
Communicate, if more time was spent communicating and less time having side conversations... a ton of work would get done on the behalf of the students of course.
The actual job description doesn't include the day to day stressors and it seems like the position's tasks grow, however the pay does not, which is underwhelming considering the cost of living in the Bay Area.
