During a pandemic, we're treated as if we're running a full hospital.. but without hazard pay, and with more work. They show "appreciation" with a pizza once in awhile.
The employees form a family like bond.. and we're all fighting the bully (the company) together as a unit. But still strive to enjoy our time together and provide the best care possible for the patients.
They should care more about the people that are providing the services. If all clinical/office staff didn't show up, not a single person from leadership would be able to handle what we do on a daily basis.
Leading and listening. Their main focus is numbers and getting paid, but could care less about the people that work endlessly to tend to the patients' needs. They can't function without us but don't seem to believe that everyone is already one foot out the door.
