
Gender is irrelevant when making a hiring decision. Competency is what matters when making a choice about who is on a team. It's also illegal to discriminate based on gender. Great teams are defined by their output not by their gender. That being said, women occupy many engineering and leadership roles in the company. To do well at Comcast, you need only to work hard.
Unfortunately there aren't any women on my specific team, we did currently interview a few different women to fill a position. With that being said, we do have a very diverse employee base as a whole in our company. There are quite a few successful women in our field and have great recognition within Comcast.
We have zero women on our team. It's very much not diverse enough.
