I felt like the person interviewing me was easy to talk to which made me more comfortable to be myself in the interview. Versus some companies grill you on very hard questions with multiple employees.
We happen to get along very well. I'm lucky to say that my coworkers are friends. Not sure if that's the case across the company (in all departments) but my team's personalities mesh well. Plus our boss makes it a point to do team building exercises regularly.
I feel undervalued because of our noncompetitive PTO benefits. Most companies start new employees with accruing 3 weeks, prorated for their first year, whereas at CURO, we don't get any PTO until after a year. I also feel like wages are under when comparing to other businesses in Wichita.
I think communication between departments can be better. Could be beneficial to have group activities to get to know other departments better and to learn more about what they do, that way you can know their challenges & perspective. Accounting used to have Lunch and Learns, might be a good idea.
