From my experience, it depends on your property and the management team above you since they are the "gatekeepers" to advancement. So far, the opportunities for white men, and heterosexual-presenting white/hispanic women are abundant. Black men and women, any women who don't fit the conventional mold of femininity -regardless of sexual orientation - do not have the same opportunities. Although they often have more experience and qualifications than those in the former group.
