Orangetheory Fitness Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I have a matched 401k plan

The 401k and the matching.

There is no cap on commission

Goal are ambitious but achievable.

i get a free membership

Review from Sales Dept

Commission is fairly distributed and fairly easy to make

Review from Sales Dept

We receive annual evaluations and have regular opportunities for growth within the company which both may lead to an increase in compensation.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I wish we got holiday pay (even an extra $1/hour), I wish we were paid at least $16/hour and I wish full-time employees were allowed to work over 40 hours and get paid overtime. When asked to do extra such as run social media - there should also be added pay for the added responsibilites

Zero benefits, health insurance, 401k.

The company doesnt have enough room for more staff, so they pile on more work ,however doesnt justify compensation. Overall dead end job with very little growth, since its 1 person observing you and if they dont like you ,they wont promote you. No matter how good you might be.

poor benefits. I would love to be full time at otf but i can not and have to work two other jobs because the pay and benefits are so horrible.

Doing studio manager duties with an assistant manager wage.

I feel as though my knowledge within sales development has not yet been recognized, however I am still very new.

Review from Sales Dept

Should be working toward commission on our sales of memberships.

If I had benefits as a coach

the benefits are expensive and its cheaper to get insurance on your own

The company is based on a younger pool of employees, but due to an older generation of C suite executives, they do not believe people (millenials) should be paid what they are asking for and always using their age as a reason to hold them back from promotions or salary increase.

They pay according to how many people in class. You as a trainer are required to clean up if you are the last instructors of the morning or evening.

Low pay and no benefits

Review from Sales Dept

Could be paid more hourly
