The salary was fair market and benefits are pretty progressive. The best part if the health insurance package, which was quite surprising. The life insurance plan is pretty good as well.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership is people-focused, which shows in the company's portfolio and how they treat their employees. Communication is clear and direct without much in between you and them, and they are easy to talk to. Leadership actually cares and they prove it with their actions.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture is very open and supportive of all people. Hiring is fair and diversity/representation is high. The company has strict harassment policies, but have never seen a problem yet. It's a very comfortable environment without fears of reprisal or prejudices. We are all valued here.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people are great! The culture is very friendly and communicative, with lots of hard work and side chatter on shared interest topics. It's not just heads down unless you personally want that. Fairly progressive group of people that love to share and value you as a person.
What makes you most happy at work?
The projects are dynamic and challenging, but also incredibly rewarding. What we build makes a difference to our users, and that makes getting to work exciting. Having good teammates and people to talk and laugh with also makes it fun. One of the best experiences I've have by far.
