The service is amazing, but the 1980s sales techniques are alarming . Especially the way they seem to encourage people that are poor and are black or brown to over spend and live above their means. There seems to be a targeting of brown and black people.

The company, especially in HQ, is filled with empathetic and smart people who really believe in the mission. Being smaller and high-growth, SL benefits from making quick decisions and not getting bogged down in bureaucracy which eliminates a lot of frustration typically felt at a large company.
