Constantly changing team dynamics creates a situation making it very difficult to accomplish anything of note, or in a speedy manor. The leadership cannot stick with a simple plan and create a situation where the entire engineering org is in a constant state of churn. Some developers are very good, others are very poor. There is no sense of meritocracy that allows the good engineers to become leaders, rather it's just the most boisterous engineers that cry until they get their way which often leads to poor practices and policies within the organization. As a good engineer in Austin, you could do much better than Sparefoot. If you're a bad engineer it's a nice place to be.
