My work here thus far has been challenging and rewarding. I am also grateful for the repeated reminders from my coworkers that my work here is valued.
We foster an environment where continued learning is valued, and coworkers are encouraged to share specialized knowledge with others.
I am building valuable relationships with my coworkers, as well as learning skills I believe will advance my career.
The work we do is challenging and fulfilling, and we are serious about our work but don't take ourselves too seriously.
I like that they make an effort to know me on a personal level and to be transparent with the company about major decisions.
The unlimited vacation policy works really well and encourages people to have a good work-life balance. I have not personally seen people abusing the privilege.
I was asked to give a presentation at the beginning of my on-site interview. While it was difficult to prepare a talk about myself, I think it allowed me to make a good first impression.
Across the board, team members have been friendly and helpful. Additionally, more experienced team members have gone out of their way to teach me new concepts outside of my official job description so that I can grow and become more versatile.
Employees are encouraged to learn about and be involved in work across the company and are not limited only to their specific teams and roles. Additionally, teams are frequently showcasing their progress and communicating their goals to the company at large.
They know their employees well, and they are personally involved in the on-boarding and hiring processes. They also have a clear vision for the company and work to communicate this, as well as the principles of GNSS technology, to everyone here.
Even though I am new to the company, my coworkers trust my judgement and give me the freedom to propose and spearhead projects. However, I also have mentors available to me and am not completely on my own when I need something.
As part of my compensation package, I also receive catered meals, unlimited PTO, commuter benefit options, and memberships to gyms nearby the office. It is all of these little things that really make the difference in my day-to-day life and encourage good work/life balance.
