Benefit is horrible. You have to pay additional for your wife/husband. In Seattle, Trupanion really paid the minimum for their employees to get by.
Listen to your customer. Hire more software engineer to improve your software. The trupanion software is a joke and could use a lot rebuilt.
The leadership team dont really care about their employee. They pushed them to work over weekend to deliver. There is no work life balance at Trupanion.
They gave the worst keyboard and mouse (amazon baisc) to their software engineer. No standing desk or chair when the whole company switch to WFH for 1 and half year. Employees have to buy their own desk and chair for IT department.
Please hire more diversity. I worked in IT, 95% of the senior software engineer are men. I was the only colored woman on the team. Everyone there either worked for more than 5 years or they have been there when the company started so they have their own group and don't really listen to you.
