What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership team is very creative which leads to amazing innovative ideas. On the flip side, I think we all wish they would follow a more traditional compensation model rather than trying to force a square peg in a circle hole year after year.

PTO, sabbatical, child care, stock, remote flexibility

We're given a good amount of PTO, and we're expected to use it! Love the fully-paid health/vision/dental insurance for employees. Also the fully-paid pet medical insurance for one of my pets.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
pay is far below what my skills are worth and what comparable companies offer for similar roles

What are some of the best things about your team?
working with people who care a lot about each other and doing great work

My team is passionate about pets (they also have adorable pets) and they like to have fun while they work! I enjoy working and laughing with them.

My team is super collaborative, and when something goes wrong, we problem-solve and don't point fingers. We have a lot of different people on my team, and I genuinely enjoy working with all of them.

Pet passion permeates everything. The pet-friendly mindset makes an environment where you feel comfortable talking about yourself and life. I think it also helps us not to take everything so seriously, when you're in a meeting and a cat/dog does something funny in the background.

The recruiting team was so responsive and organized. I was hired within 30 days of applying. Everyone was friendly and the zoom interview loop was a seamless process.

I liked that I was given a chance to ask questions, and the people I asked were very honest with their answers. Interviewing on Zoom was easy and well-organized.

company culture, more accountability for unproductive and abusive behaviors

Competitive base salaries and slower, more thoughtful change. The marketing/revenue teams seem to reorg every 3 months. It's extremely disruptive.
