Trupanion Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Fairly straight forward and typical

I was able to interview with the team I woukd be leading.

Meeting with the team I would be managing was a nice change.

The interviewers were not too intimidating

Meeting with current employees in the role

I interviewed years ago before the company was so large. The process has changed tremendously.

Interviewed with several people and teams.

how clear and communicative the recruiting team was

meeting people I would work with

Very kind and casual interview. Never felt pressured or felt like I had to be on 100% personality to impress them. Accepting of alternative appearances.

The recruiting team was so responsive and organized. I was hired within 30 days of applying. Everyone was friendly and the zoom interview loop was a seamless process.

Review from HR Dept

I liked that I was given a chance to ask questions, and the people I asked were very honest with their answers. Interviewing on Zoom was easy and well-organized.

Review from HR Dept

The folks you meet in the process are friendly and can put you at ease. They'll still ask you thought-provoking interview questions but in a less intimidating way.

Review from HR Dept

There were three rounds of interviews so I got to talk to different people to learn more about the company

Review from Marketing Dept

There was no commitment on either side and there was training and education about a product; if we didn't move forward with the company making me an offer, it still would have been good to learn the information.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

It's very easy. Most business questions from business people.

Improve your interview process. Don't hire business people as the leadership for your IT department.
