I've been at ABC for 8.5 years & love it now. Before the current leadership team it was a dismal place but we dealt w/ it mostly because we were too beaten down & exhausted to look for anything better. Now, even if I got an offer from my dream job or company I'd likely turn it down to stay.
What makes you most happy at work?
My projects & friends. I love what I do & I don't allow myself to get bored.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Many of my co-workers are like family to me. I work too long & hard to have friends outside of work & my ABC co-workers are my best friends.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I LOVE our leadership team! Specifically, the ones I have direct interactions w/ are Hatem, PK & Len. They jumped in the trenches w/ us, removed obstacles, pulled all-nighters & empowered us to make Ignite a success. I feel comfortable going to them for help any time because they care, listen & help
What is the best part about your compensation package?
With this new leadership team, they understand the importance of paying their workers that produce results, the best wages. It wasn't always like this but this is a new era or treating employees fairly that ABC never did before. I'd say my salary is the best & our Cigna Health Ins is 2nd best.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love that work realizes how hard many of us work & will gift us surprise mental health days off. I also love all of the non-typical Corporate holidays that we now get off. I also love that I no longer have awful micromanagers to deal with & I'm trusted to get my work done & work my own hours.
