In my 6 years at Betterworks, I got married, bought a house, and raised 2 (soon to be 3!) kids. Thankfully, I was able to balance all of this with a very rewarding job and incredibly supportive employees, managers, and executive leadership. Betterworks has done nothing but build me up.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are constantly doing public recognition and take the time to meet and highlight every new person that joins Betterworks.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Being aligned to a company bonus and taking into account things like phone/travel costs that are part of me doing my best work as an employee.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The access and collaboration they have all the way down to individual contributors. Although they have the ability to make decisions independently, they truly capture the voice and feedback of their teams and people managers.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people and flexibility. From day 1 when I joined Betterworks in 2016 we have promoted flexibility and a level of trust awarded to each employee. This is very empowering and has led to us growing our team with a ton of self-motivated people.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I draw so much energy and excitement from my team members that I prioritize spending time each week in our New York office. I have an hour commute each way and have found working from home to be very beneficial, but I opt to spend time in the office even though it is not required.
