My Area Director has been here less than a year. She has more skill and knowledge in her little finger than all of the Support Center. She understands operations and IDD. She is firm, fair, and no nonsense. This is a complete 180 from what the Support Center is. I'm afraid they will run her.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was easy. They were desperate for staff. They would have hired anyone
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The Support Center needs to promote from the field from knowledge people who have paid their dues.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
You hear about work life balance, but it is a myth at Caregiver Inc unless you work at the corporate office.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Our location works together, but we are not considered a part of the Caregiver, Inc family. The Support Center creates an us vs. them mentality.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
New staff started at $10. Then they started at $9.50. I been here 7 years. Started at $9 and still making it. No reward for loyalty or experience.
