There is little stability. Things change from day to day. A lot of management have only been employed with the company for 2 years. Staff in the group homes has a high turnover rate.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Everything. A living wage. Work Life Balance. A REAL retirement plan.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
As long as someone shows up, they will be hired. This company just wants warm bodies.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
To work together, we need more staff! One person on shift per home cannot safely take care of clients.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Organization and transparency! The support center spends, spends, spends with new positions/titles, yet nothing trickles down to the frontline workers. In fact they cut our starting wages and are giving no raises!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The 401K has no match....at all....0....nada....zilch...at $9.00 an hour, I can never retire. I can't afford insurance, and if I could, the coverage is barebones. I can't use my ATO because we have no staff to work in my place.
