My overall experience is really supplemented by my coworkers and direct reports, but generally not great with my manager, who determines a lot of my progression at the company. I feel boxed out by my manager from opportunities for growth, and feel he has been ineffective at driving outcomes for us.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It's all about the people I get to lead and work alongside, their genuine interest in being their best selves, and the ability to collaborate with them often.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to help coworkers, being relied on, seeing our leaders care about the people that work at this company, generosity with compensation, benefits & equity, and a general focus on employee well being.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
1. I appreciate having variable comp, it gives me incentive to overachieve on my targets. 2. I appreciate the HSA, 401k matching, and solid dental and health plans + partner coverage. 3. Appreciate the annual gifts & nespresso as a part of presidents club
What are some of the best things about your team?
I appreciate working alongside other people at or near my level who are dependable, honest, and always striving for the best for Fivetran. They are sincere in their efforts, work hard and help the value of all of our equity, are friendly, and teach me something new ALL the time w/ honest feedback.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
1. Focus on transparency as a way to lead the company 2. They set clear goals for us all. It's okay to have challenging goals as long as they are CLEAR and we can all march in one direction. 3. Ability to make bold & swift decisions for the betterment of the company (acquiring HVR, reorg)
