Our leaders display remarkable candor considering their experience levels. All leaders are humble, and are always open to varying opinions regardless of what level they're coming from.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We have lost days off and parental leave this year. Benefits packages are not comparable across different geos. % pay raises don't kept up with inflation. Better comms needed from leadership that explains why benefits are structured the way they are and they need to "show the work"

No more "location-based pay discrepancies" within the same region ie Dublin versus London especially if someone who is overachieving in Dublin is paid less than an underachiever in London - the cost of living is not that different!!

What are some of the best things about your team?
There is absolutely zero ego at Fivetran. No one feels above a task nor beyond an opinion. Everyone is open to collaborate, learns from each other, and works together towards our combined mission.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Being part of a digital-first company can be hard. But, I don't think that's unique to Fivetran. I appreciate that the company invests in company-wide, in-person events; but it makes growing a rapport hard.

Less politics, be more personable and nice during meetings ("hello how are you"?) instead of jumping straight to the agenda.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Levels, roles and seniority never get in the way of tackling a project. Everyone truly embodies a 1 Team 1 Dream mentality, with high level leaders always willing to get their hands dirty and lower-level ICs having the opportunity to contribute towards strategy and direction.

The people I have the privilege of working with. Everyone is an expert in their subject area and I learn something new from them every, single day.

There is a lot of uncertainty and chaos at the moment. The introduction of a 13th month has put a lot of team members in mental limbo. It has been challenging to get excited and motivate the teams without clarity and strong executive leadership
