Fivetran's Modern Data Stack Conference is coming to San Francisco and registration is now open!
Overall it's very positive. Working at Fivetran has a lot of positive aspects to it. Management seems to have a strong plan on how the company will be successful long term and that plan is communicated well to employees. Work-life balance seems very reasonable and better than most startups.
What makes you most happy at work?
I get paid to do a job I generally find interesting and fun.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I really like the vacation policy, 5 weeks from the start is almost unheard of.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They seem generally interesting in making Fivetran the best place to grow my career. Lots of opportunity while also providing great benefits and comp.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I like the flexibility on working remote vs. in-office. It's nice to see the efforts going to build out the Oakland office without the pressure to return by a certain date.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is very supportive and eager to assist me in getting up to speed in the role. They seem generally knowledgable and capable in their roles which is not something I've experienced working at prior companies.
