Suffers from the same issues as lots of other software engineering places. Not sure one place is truly better than another, but I like the low pressure and socially conscious environment here. The work life balance is also very good. Benefits are decent.

Approachable; respond to questions; care about individual employees; take active interest in work at all levels

More in-depth knowledge of underlying software fundamentals; more attention to detail; better communication skills; improved reading comprehension
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I compare myself to peers in similar roles at other organizations and see that I am making less TC. To feel better, I think I'd prefer more base and/or performance-based bonuses.
