The journey has been amazing so far. Always learning and still have a lot to learn as our product is quite technical. Working remotely has been challenging for all of us, I was lucky to meet few of my coworkers. But I hope collaboration will get better in the office.

My experience has been great overall but I'm sad to see the same silos and gaps between global headquarters and local offices (in terms of processes, inclusion, replication of successes, support, career growth, etc).

Diversity, we all come from very different backgrounds and bring value to the company

The fact that each of us has a unique set of expertise, that brings magic to the team! And each individual is always willing to help.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company is demanding success but leaves all doors open for experimentation. Failure is not negative if it was an attempt to try something different. We are also always challenged to do better which I like.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
In only 8 months at Fivetran, I received Marketer of the year 2020 award + got a salary increase as reward of the completion of my goals. Never happened to me to have my work so much acknowledged.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Undervalued is not the best way to describe my vision: but I must confess that I got hired for a specific position, and discovered while joining that I would actually have to take over 4 people's job. In this sense I believe my salary does not reflect the volume of work I'm delivering.
