I've worked here for a couple of months and the experience has been great. Everyone is very collaborative, the fully remote aspect of the company has made my work more flexible (and eliminated my previous commute), and our documentation is top notch (in our handbook).
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that I am contributing directly to the product and collaborating with my teams.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is very welcoming and nice. I haven't had any bad experiences working with people here.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The pay is really great. I like how transparent GitLab is with determining how you are paid.
What did you like most about the interview process?
There was a link they provided me early in the process, so I could keep track of where I was in the overall interview process.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I like that each meeting has a purpose. We have to create an agenda with what we plan to discuss, so I leave meetings knowing that progress was made.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that I get to be in meetings and see my leadership team on a regular basis. I never saw my leadership team in my previous role except for a company-wide video recording or webinar.
