RSU is very competitive for me.
Review from Marketing Dept
80/20 split with stock options and bonus
Compensation is great: lot of RSU and variable.
It is fair and equitable and no quibble
Salary and unlimited PTOs are the best in the industry
Review from Engineering Dept
The package is incredible better than any company I have ever worked for.
Work fully remote is great.
Unlimited PTO, home-office setup budget
Gitlab has a very generous RSU package.
Review from HR Dept
Conversion factor for all locations
Unlimited pto and stock options
Review from Sales Dept
The fact that i fan do
Equity in the company, salary
it's still a growing company
Review from Sales Dept
They analyse the market regularly and adjust when needed to ensure fairness at a global level
Literally nothing to complain about. Great salary, great equipment, fact that I work from home and have much more time for my family
Unlimited PTO. Huge compensation for education
Work from home, flexible schedule, company stock, unlimited vacation
Competitive cash compensation, with equity that has the potential to be sizable based on company trajectory.
I never had the same compensation package like the one I am getting with GitLab compared to my previous organizations. I am very thankful.
The pay is below market rate.
Benefits such as 401(k) and medical/dental/vision are sub-par. They should be brought up to the same level as industry leaders like Google/Meta
I feel our benefits package is sub-par to industry leaders like Google/Meta, and a better 401(k) plan and health benefits would be nice
GitLab well underpays compared to the tech benchmark. GitLab should do away with the location factor and bring pay up to industry standard.
They need to do a salary review ASAP. People leave because of money. GitLab is a great company to work in terms of diversity, equality and transparency, the hiring process is tough and it's also hard to be selected among worldwide candidates, they really need to do something to keep their employees.
Benefits are non existent apart from what the country of residence of the employee enforce and some very basic app subscriptions and average salary for the specific job.
There's almost no benefits package unless a country mandates it with the most basic app subscriptions as a bonus and the pay is average for the market.
Review from Sales Dept
There's no real benefits aside from working from home. The benefits pretty much depends on the lowest possibly provided by the employee's country of residence laws. Just the most basic free app subscriptions that usually cost next to nothing for individual purschase.
I feel undervalued but is not due to money, comes of not let me move to a diferent position in 8 years and not been recognized suficiently as I am doing the work of an account manager, executive account, some marketing work, RFQ and contracts and the daily work of the board as a director
Our compensation is lower than in comparable companies, and our 401k is very minimal.
Review from Sales Dept
I struggle with the fact that my base compensation is lower than I could get from other organizations but there are a lot of positives that keep me here.
Review from Operations Dept
Salary is lower than average
