I think that the majority of the people working there, do not enjoy being at work. Very few people do their job, once management isn't looking they do what they want.
What are some of the best things about your team?
When they are available to work. Show up and put in the effort to work.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Too many people show up for the paycheck and forget the customer service part and that their job is important to assure customers come back.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
To describe the actual job more in depth. Get to know the person a little better, experiences that they had and work history. You should set the expectations from day one. Work ethic, uniform, etc.
