The interactions and relationships. There are quite a few of us, but it seems tight-knit. Everyone is quite lovely and a lot of us have been around one another for year/s.

The only positive thing about my job is my coworkers.
That my workplace among other Hy-Vee's has surprisingly not abandon their duties after the temporary grocery discount being removed for months.

The most positive is what we bring to the table. WE make it positive.
The few managers that like working there and try and make it fun for all of the checkers, baggers, and stockers rather than bossing them around like they aren't people.

Not so corporatized and less work forced onto one or teo good employees

That implementing labor intensive changes is hard after / during a labor shortage and being talked to like we aren't even trying to hire people does not help.
Stop forcing products that dont sell, forced purchasing hurts profits when it will not sell until marked down to nothing. Then you are surprised when the GP is terrible. If you can really do a better job running the store from the home office, why are sales and profit so bad?
Care about the people at the bottom.
