I didnt interview for my last role, I was asked to fill it. Right or wrong, its how things happen there. I had to apply to random companies just to interview and brush up on my skills before I left.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Consistency with HR department and pay equal to position and experience.

Talking about what goes on at work and not leaving it out

To describe the actual job more in depth. Get to know the person a little better, experiences that they had and work history. You should set the expectations from day one. Work ethic, uniform, etc.

Get a new HR person

Don't make people wait for over 30 minutes to be seen

They need to ask what hours they are willing to work. How hard you are willing to work. Hour flexibility, or if they are willing to pick up when others are done with their shift. Age is relevant to do your job. They need to be better with time management.

It took awhile for them to get back to me, and I constantly had to call them back. Also they told me to be there at a certain time for my interview only to be told when I got there that they had left early for the day.

They interviewed groups of people at the same time. Everyone sitting at the same table interviewing anybody that walked through the door and hired everyone -
