Leaders lead by example daily
Review from Sales Dept
They are very approachable and have a lot of experience. They truly care about what they do and you can tell.
Communication and planning for all events
They have respect for employees
Approachable, but little constructive action.
Be more present and listen and address the issues before they get out of hand.
Communication between HR and upper management
Review from Customer Support Dept
They need to be human. They need to promote and recognize people with the skills and who deserve to contribute more to the business, not their buddies. This applies to all levels.
More cooperation, if it's possible with the underpaid wages.
Too insular. Need to be better educated and more intelligent.
Insurance wage schedule flexibility empowerment
Review from Sales Dept
Im not salary amd im a hourly manager so anything over 40 is over time.
I am paid well, and my insurance seems good and reasonably priced.
Health coverage is very good
Time off balance is great
I’m given no time to use my benefits. There is no one to cover workers taking time of
higher 401 k contribution by the company
Being appreciated would be a good start
Overworked and new hires come in making higher than you.
Equal pay for equal work for those that are in lateral positions.
We care about each other
Review from Sales Dept
I have a few awesome workers
very flexible, supportive, willing to assist
Kind hardworking small group, lots of stress for us when we have no help, but we manage to pull it off.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Trust, looking out for each other, and genuine concern.
Not be company shills and expect impossible goals
Hyvee uses incentives to get people to do more work for less money, this causes employees to work against each other rather than a team
Hire intelligent people who can do their job and pay them well
The department thaf I work in works well together, but the higher up management doesn't appriciate us, and makes us feel like I do not do enough or am good enough, when I do more than asked of.
People need to be on time to their shift and listen better.
Most employees are friendly with customers
Review from Sales Dept
The interactions and relationships. There are quite a few of us, but it seems tight-knit. Everyone is quite lovely and a lot of us have been around one another for year/s.
Most of the consumers, knowledgeable enoloyees.

What is up with all the questions I just want to know salaries
To support customers , be helpful
They need to focus on the problem inside of brushing it underneath the table.
Telling our people we are doing a great job, communication with others,
Review from Customer Support Dept
Not so corporatized and less work forced onto one or teo good employees
Review from Sales Dept
That implementing labor intensive changes is hard after / during a labor shortage and being talked to like we aren't even trying to hire people does not help.
Stop forcing products that dont sell, forced purchasing hurts profits when it will not sell until marked down to nothing. Then you are surprised when the GP is terrible. If you can really do a better job running the store from the home office, why are sales and profit so bad?
HR made me feel comfortable
Review from Sales Dept
Applying for one job and getting a better offer
Getting hired in the interview.
Meeting the management teamvwas interesting
I didnt interview for my last role, I was asked to fill it. Right or wrong, its how things happen there. I had to apply to random companies just to interview and brush up on my skills before I left.
Consistency with HR department and pay equal to position and experience.
Talking about what goes on at work and not leaving it out
To describe the actual job more in depth. Get to know the person a little better, experiences that they had and work history. You should set the expectations from day one. Work ethic, uniform, etc.
Get a new HR person
Don't make people wait for over 30 minutes to be seen

Engaging with our customers daily
Review from Sales Dept
Going home at the end of my shift and the next day is my day off.
When everything is flowing nicely, my orders are on, the customers are buying, and the department looks nice.
Customers receive works that they are satisfied with: when art and food are combined, the healthiest food is!
Helping those (elderly or handicapped) who need it; seeing gratitude in customer’s eyes at receiving said service, and knowing I was involved in i
Adequate pay, better and more attractive benefits and specials.
Review from Operations Dept
Proces have gotten outnof control at store level. They gove too much autonomy to their stores and its hurting their success. But, as long as they keep driving customers into our stores, I'd say, keep on!
Increase wages, don't unjustly take away grocery discounts.
The company has invested money in race cars and things that have nothing to do with groceries. Invest in the people! Pay people fairly with competitive wages and treat them with respect. Keep communication lines open. They will have less turnover, and more satisfied employees.
Too many people show up for the paycheck and forget the customer service part and that their job is important to assure customers come back.
