Every day was a struggle to get out of bed. You were directed to do things you knew were wrong and knew would sink the companys value and return. The c suite leadership refused to look at data and examine analytics and mostly shot from the hip when making critical spendong decisions.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to be human. They need to promote and recognize people with the skills and who deserve to contribute more to the business, not their buddies. This applies to all levels.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are all in it at the bottom together. We all saw the same issues and a lot of us got out and went on to instant success and prosperity and we are all much happier.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Proces have gotten outnof control at store level. They gove too much autonomy to their stores and its hurting their success. But, as long as they keep driving customers into our stores, I'd say, keep on!
What did you like most about the interview process?
I didnt interview for my last role, I was asked to fill it. Right or wrong, its how things happen there. I had to apply to random companies just to interview and brush up on my skills before I left.
