They care more about policy and supporting ideas of leadership that don't do anything to make a good working environment. They have outdated processes and practices. Most employees are paid really low and unfairly, and I know, I was in a leadership role.

Some are nice and helpful. We are all in the same boat so most bond over that.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
There is too much work in some areas and not enough in others. They expect fast growth so the pace is crazy for salaried workers but the bureaucracy is so much that you just can't be successful.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Fair market pay. Fair benefits. Fair treatment. I know it's a business but it feels like Intertek doesn't care about its employees. You are a number and replacable—or the people left will just take on your work and they can't complai
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Servant leadership. Leadership fosters an environment of pressure and leads with a stick, not a carrot. Don't ever question your manager or have an opposing idea. It's outdated thinking but bad leaders breed bad leaders. If you kiss up and agree with everything they will love you.
